Irene Bell Mathews was born August 17th, 1912 to Phillop Wylie and Marie (Williamson) Hoover in Detroit, Michigan. She passed away on September 7, 1993 at the English Village Nursing.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents, Husband Roy Matthews and one son, Donald Eugene Smith. She is survived by two children; Ted Smith of Kennedale, Texas and Lola Faye Wootten of Bokelia, Florida.

Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, September 10, 1993 at the Altus City Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Services are under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
