Obituary for Irene Lucy Burrow
Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Burrow, age 76, will be held at 2:30 P.M., Sunday at Highland Heights Methodist Church, with the Reverend Norman Neaves, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burrow, of 1204 N. Willard, died today. She was a long time resident of Jackson County.
A native of Laturdale, MS, she was born July 4th, 1891. Her husband preceded her in death in 1959. One daughter also preceded her in death in 1967.
Survivors include: four sons, Clitus Burrow of Amarillo, TX, Woodrow Burrow, Vern Burrow and Hershel Burrow, all of Altus; three brothers, Bill Ellis of Elmer, Wiley Ellis and Bennie Ellis, both of Altus; four sisters, Mrs. Madine Shirley of Hess, Mrs. Vera Sanford of Elmer, Mrs. Ella Burrow and Mrs.Margaret Hester, both of Altus; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
