Obituary for Irma Ailene McDuff
Irma Ailene (Denny) McDuff of Mangum, Oklahoma began her earthly journey, September 3, 1928 in Brooken, Oklahoma. Ailene was the 5th of 14 children born to Harden John Denny and Gertrude Nell (Horne) Denny.
Ailene stepped onto golden streets Dec 7, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles Wesley McDuff of Mangum, Oklahoma as well as both parents. She is also preceded in death by their daughter Rhonda June McDuff as well as 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
Ailene's passion was to care for those who were unable to care for themselves. She worked in the elderly care facilities in Mangum until she retired to care for her husband following a stroke.
Ailene enjoyed gardening, and growing flowers, picture puzzles, working word search puzzles while listen to old time gospel music on her XM Radio.
Ailene is survived by her children Chester & Donna (McDuff) Bowen of Mangum, Oklahoma. Pastor Ronald McDuff of Carlsbad, New Mexico and His Twin, Rev. Donald and wife Vickie McDuff of Garner, North Carolina. Rev. Michael and Darla (McDuff) Davis of Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Grandchildren: Rhonda (Bowen) Henry, Jeff and Jaclyn McDuff, Rev. Shane and Teryn (McDuff) Spears, Rev. William and Candra (McDuff) Hales, Michael Bowen, Rebekah Bowen, Erin and Brittany McDuff, Rev. Jared and Amanda Davis, Gabrielle Porter, Michala Davis and Whitney Davis.
15 Great grandchildren: Dawson, Twila, and Shania Henry; Clayton, Conner, Cynzie and Caleb Hales; Carson and Casen McDuff; Eli, Seth, Zack, Sam Spears; Adylee and Kyson Davis; Claire McDuff.
Also surviving Ailene is Joan Denny, her sister - Karen Cook, Brothers C.J. Denny, Harley (Burr) Denny, and Ronnie Denny.
Not the least of, are numerous nephews, nieces and a great host of friend who are here or would love to have been here.
