Obituary for Jack Allie Rumbo
Mr. Jack Rumbo, age 66, long time resident of Eldorado, died Sunday at Quanah Memorial Hospital following a stroke suffered earlier. Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado, officiated by Reverend Don Ladner and assisted by the Reverend Elbert Johnson. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born August 16th, 1904, in Navarro County, Texas, he came to Eldorado in 1924 and was married to the former Alvis Brownlow in January 1925. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors, in addition to the wife of the home include: three sons, Roy of Eldorado, Bobby of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Cozelle of Arkadelphia, AR; one daughter, Peggy Ruth Rumbo of Texas;
one brother, Cecil of Terrell, Texas; eight grandchildren. The body will lie in state at Lowell-Richardsso Memorial Chapel in Eldorado.
