Obituary for Jack Dewayne Lowell
Jack Dewayne Lowell, age 39, of Roosevelt, died Thursday morning of an apparent heart attack.
He was stricken while hunting on a farm east of Roosevelt and was dead upon arrival at Elkview
Hospital in Hobart, OK.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Roosevelt, officiated by the Reverend Bill Gentry, pastor. Burial will be in Roosevelt Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born April 16, 1925 in Kiowa County, he had worked for a number of years for Phillips 66 Refinery near Pampa. He was married to the former Francis Duncan in 1966. He was a Korean Veteran.

Survivors include: his wife of the home; sons, Mike, Jack, Harry of the home; a daughter, Teresa of the home; one brother, Nolan Ayers of Roosevelt; a sister, Carol Hine of Hobart; his Mother, Mrs. Glee Ayres of Roosevelt; a grandmother, Mrs. Arch Lowell of Roosevelt.

The body will lie in state at Lowell Memorial Chapel in Roosevelt. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, friends wishing to do so make contributions to the Elkview Hospital Cardiac Unit Fund in Hobart.
