Obituary for Jack J. Boockholdt
Jack J. Boockholdt was born July 26, 1929 at Clanton, Alabama. He was the son of the late John & Emma Boockholdt. He died August 27, 1995 in Altus, Oklahoma. Jack married Joan White, July 15, 1989 at Whitesboro, Texas. He had been a resident of Altus and Jackson County since 1974. He owned and operated his own business, the Reliable Home Repair. He served in the US Air Force 30 years and retired as Chief Master Sergeant. He was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be held, Wednesday at 2:00pm at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Tim Luschen officiating. Interment will be held in the Altus Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Lowell-Tims is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife Joan Boockholdt of Altus, children; Keith Boockholdt and wife Barbara of Miami, Florida, Jack Boockholdt Jr. of Ft. Walton, Florida, Eva Bailey and Randy of Ft. Walton, Florida; 8 grandchildren, step-children, Michael Scalf of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Christopher and Suzanne Scalf of Dallas, Texas, Bethaney Scalf of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one nephew, John Boockholdt of Abilene, Texas, 2 sister-in-laws, Rita Boockholdt of Camden, North Carolina, and Clara Boockholdt of Montgomery, Alabama; 1 niece, Nita Boockholdt of Camden, North Carolina.
Preceded in death by parents, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.
