Jack Sims
Jack Sims, 86, passed away Thursday, July 13, 1995, at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Jack was born July 1, 1909, at Chalk, Texas, to the late Robert Lee and Anna Owens Sims. He later moved to Arizona where married Clarice Todd. Clarice preceded him in death on April 4, 1990.While living in Yuma Arizona, Jack was very involved in farming and ranching. After retiring, he moved back to the Altus, Jackson County area in 1980.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother and one sister.
He is survived by three sons, Jackie Sims and Jeff Sims, both of Yuma, Arizona; and Jerry Sims; two brothers, Harley Sims of Fullerton, California; and Tom Sims of Altus; one sister, Lois Miller of California; eight grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
