Obituary for Jacqueline Tucker
Jacqueline Tucker, age 77, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away in her residence on June 26, 2002. A Rosary will be held Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Services have been set for Saturday, June 29, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Joe Arledge officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tucker was born on October 8th, 1924 to Jack and Myrtle Curnow in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She married Donald Tucker in 1945 and they made their home near Headrick, Oklahoma. She worked as a nurse at Altus Air Force Base Hospital and local hospitals. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters and a volunteer for the ACMI House.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Tucker and one daughter, Barbara Ryan.
Her survivors are: two granddaughters, Elizabeth Peterson of Altus, Oklahoma and Jessica Ryan of New York; one great-grandchild, Nathan Peterson of Altus, Oklahoma and one sister, Carmel Zaniroli of Redding, CA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
