Obituary for James Edward Lillard
James Edward Lillard was born November 9th, 1907 in Oklahoma. He died June 18, 1994 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He was a longtime resident of Altus and Jackson County. He farmed most of his life until he retired. He married Lola Spruill in 1978 in Altus. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Army overseas. He was a member of the Martha Methodist Church.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Boyd Whitehead officiating. Interment will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

Survivors include: his wife Lola Lillard of the home in Altus; three children, Charlie Mae Tody of Las Cruces, NM, Durlene Nall of Arizona and Monique Shanklin of Las Cruces, NM; one sister, Effie Williamson of Salem, OR.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; three brothers and one sister.
