James William Gray age 72 of Altus, Oklahoma, died at his home December 10, 1966 in Altus. He was born January 10, 1894 in Blanco, Texas to Robert and Cora (Boyd) Gray. James was a minister and had been a resident of Jackson county since 1906. He was married and his wife preceded him in death December 10, 1962.
Funeral services for James William Gray are scheduled for December 13, 1966 at 2:00pm in Tims Chapel, Altus, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Harvey Davis and Rev. J.V. Oden. Burial will follow in the Altus, Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
James William Gray is survived by three sons, J.W. Gray Jr., Midwest City, Oklahoma; Edwin Gray, Kokomo, Indiana; Howard Gray, North Hollwood, City; two daughters, Mrs. William Martin, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Sherwood Tigert, Ft. Smith, Arkansas; Mrs. William Angeleti, Ft. Smith, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Ralph Anderson, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
