Jan was both tireless and endlessly curious; she spent the last several years painting houses and writing poetry. Recently, she had begun teaching herself economics and drawing.
Jan will be remembered for her immensely generous heart and profound sense of justice. These made her an unwavering ally to the poor, the sick, and disadvantaged.
At Jan"s specific request, no memorial service will be held. She asked instead that we "always keep her in our hearts."
