Obituary for Janice Roe
Janice Roe, resident of Eldorado, Oklahoma passed away in Vernon, Texas on January 12, 2024 at the age eighty-four.
On August 22, 1939 in Eldorado, Oklahoma Glover and Alice (Wilson) Dickerson and celebrated the birth of their daughter Janice L. Dickerson. Janice was raised and educated in Eldorado, Oklahoma. A huge part of life in the Dickerson house hold was centered in faith in Jesus Christ. Janice was raised in the Pentecostal Church and the Assembly of God Church. On November 5, 1955, Janice Dickerson married CJ Roe. This union would be blessed with seven children. The Roe family made their home in Eldorado, Oklahoma. Janice raised her children in the pentecostal church and gave made sure each of her children had a relationship in Jesus Christ. Janice was a devout mother and grandmother. She cherished each of her children and grandchildren and loved with a passion that knew end. Janice loved people and always put her family, friends and even strangers first. Janice leaves a legacy of love and devotion to her family and to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Left behind to honor Janice memory are her beloved children of her oldest daughter Sheila Reeves and husband Duane of Quanah, Texas son, Ricky Roe from Wichita Falls, Texas, daughter, Teresa May of Elmer, Oklahoma, son, Ronnie Roe of Eldorado, son, Jimmy Roe and wife, Victoria of Altus, daughter, Carla Coker and husband Allen of Elmer, Oklahoma, eighteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Janice was received in heaven by her parents, Glover and Alice (Wilson) Dickerson, brother, Floyd Dickerson, sisters, Dora Mae Richardson, Lula Faye Johnson; niece, Harlin L. Walker; and son, Randy Roe.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
