Obituary for Janie Hodge Rainer
Janie Mae Hodge Rainer passed away Friday morning, December 23, 1983, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Harris County, Texas on February 28th, 1909 and spent most of her life in Houston, TX. She was a nurse for several years in Houston.

Since moving to Altus in 1977, she has been active in the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and Senior Citizens, and the Congregate Meals Program. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church at Odell, Texas.

She is survived by: her daughter, Barbara Crowder; four grandchildren, Raymond M. Crowder, III, Douglas S. Crowder, Stephen F. Crowder and Kimberly Ann Crowder.

Arrangements are with Lowell Funeral Home for services to be Monday, December 26th at 2:00 P.M. at Lowell Memorial Chapel.
