Jennie Mae Clonts was born August 2, 1900 at Taylor, Texas. She died September 22, 1993 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of John & Jean Weddle. They moved to Eldorado in a covered wagon when Jennie Mae was 6 months old. She then lived in the Eldorado area for the rest of her life. Jennie Mae was married to Charles W. Clonts September 29, 1918 at Eldorado, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death in 1972. She was a member of the Eldorado Methodist Church.
Services are scheduled for 2pm Friday at the Eldorado Methodist Church with Rev. Elbert Shumaker officiating. Interment will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Survivors include children; Dorothy Hatch and Frank of Eldorado, Oklahoma; sister Effie Henderson of Eldorado, Oklahoma; two grandchildren; Jo Karon Gunkel and Jerry, of Eldorado, Carol Sue Paulsgrove and Gene of Newcastle, Oklahoma; seven great-granddaughter; four great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by husband, Charles Clonts, 1972, parents, John and Jennie Weddle; son Carroll Clonts in 1988.
