Obituary for Jerry Bob Oden
Funeral Services for Jerry Bob Oden, age 75, of Altus, Oklahoma, who died May 12, 1994 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 1994 at the Altus Family worship Center. Burial will follow at the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. Rev. J.V. Oden will officiate. Pastor Jan Ivan Oden will also officiate.
Mr. Oden was born October 15th, 1918 in Mangum to James Ivan and Etmer (Taylor) Oden. Mr. Oden married Pauline Andrada in 1953 in Portales, NM Mr. Oden was a veteran of WWII, where he served in the Army. He was retired from the Duke Public Schools.
Survivors include: his wife, Pauline of the home; two children, Larry Bobby Oden and his wife Glenda of Altus, Oklahoma and Doyle D. Oden and his wife Donna of Tuttle, OK; four brothers, Grover Oden of Yukon, OK, James Oden and J.V. Oden, both of Altus, Oklahoma and Russell Oden of McComb, OK; two sisters, Ethel Hughes of Mangum, Oklahoma and Rosey Ramey of Gould, OK; four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; sisters, Bertie Gilliam and Emma Baldridge; brothers, O.C. Oden and Jimmy Oden.
