Obituary for Jessie Cross
Mrs. Jessie Cross, age 74, long time resident of this area, died Sunday morning at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Monday at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Carl McCoy. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born January 15th, 1900 in Cushing, Texas, she had lived in this area for the pasty fifty years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin in 1946 and was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Betty Boaldin of Altus and Mrs. Helen Brackeen of Midland, Texas; two brothers, Neal Vawter of Perry, OK; a half-brother, Elbert Vawter of Tulsa; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
