Jesusita Cuellar, age 79 of Altus, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Specialty Select Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Jesusita was born in New Braunfels, Texas on December 1, 1937 to her parents John Ramirez and Inez (Hernandez) Fiela. She primarily lived in Texas and Oklahoma and has called Altus home for many years. She worked in home health care and enjoyed dancing kumbia, fishing, crochet, and cooking. Jesusita was very outgoing and full of joy and she never let anything bring her down she always kept going. She loved her family and always treasured spending time with them.
Preceded in death by her mother, Ynes Fiela; her first husband, Ralph Konkler; her second husband, Frank B. Cerda, Jr.; and her third husband, Louis Cuellar; Jesusita is survived by her two children, Frank Cerda of Altus and Dorothy JoAnne Sampler and husband Danny of Levant, Maine; two sisters, Mary Duck and husband Jerry and Janie McNeese both of Altus; seven grandchildren, Amanda and Mickey Alvarado both of Altus, Frank Cerda of Altus, Robert Burden of Eddington, Maine,Shawn Burden of Altus, Kamera and Brennen Cerda of Altus, and Michael and Courtney Coolong of Blair; six great grandchildren, Adriana, Daniel, and Jaiden Alvarado of Altus, Drayden Burden of San Antonio, Texas, Kantanna and Kingston Cerda of Altus; as well as nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends.
Family Memorial Wake services will be at the family home at 1037 Elk Street in Altus on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 3:00 pm.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
