Jewell Perdue passed away Sunday, December 19, 1993. Mrs. Perdue was born February 12, 1908 in Harmon County to Clint and Leona Stark. She married R.L. Perdue October 17, 1959 in Gould, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death June 11, 1976. She was a retired school teacher, having taught 35 years, most of the time in Altus. She was a member of the Highland Heights United Methodist Church, and the retired teachers Association.

Services are scheduled for 2 pm Wednesday at the Highland Heights United Methodist Church with Rev. Elbert Shumaker and Rev. Ginny Hathaway officiating. Burial will be in the Russell Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

She is survived by three sister-in-law, Leskel Stark and Clara Perdue of Altus, Ruth Perdue of Gould. Nephews and nieces, Steven and Martha Stark of Yukon, Stanley Stark of Altus, Suzy and Danny Moore of Weatherford.

Mrs. Perdue was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Perdue, 6-11-1976, one sister and one brother.
