Jimmie Shipley

Jimmie Shipley, age 95, of Altus who died Friday at Altus House Nursing Home. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday at the Lowell-Tims Chapel officiated by Rev. W.F. Hathaway. Burial will follow in the Prairie Hill Cemetery under he direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Jimmie Shipley was born September 15, 1897 in Nevara County, Texas. She was the daughter of Jim and Mary Walls. She was a resident of Altus since 1956.

Jimmie is survived by children Dempsey Ward and Helen of Altus, Oklahoma; Joseph C. Ward and Naomi of Livingston, Texas; Kathren risinger of Altus, Oklahoma; Clarence Ward and Ramona of Universal City, Texas; Mary King and Barry of Australia; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren, twenty-four great-great grandchildren.

Jimmie was preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Ward 1934; husband W.A. Shipley
1965.
