Obituary for Joe Houston Bell
Mr. Joe H. Bell, age 69, of 612 Judy, died Friday morning at Jackson County Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services have been set for 4:00 P.M., Monday at St. Pauls Episcopal Church, officiated by the Reverend James Mahan. Burial will be on Tuesday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ft. Worth, Texas. Local arrangements by Lowell Funeral Home.

Born April 5th, 1909 at Bellville, Texas, he was married in 1932 to the late Kathryn Stone. She died in 1973. He was a machinist by profession, lived in Ft. Worth most of his life but had resided with his daughter in Altus for the last year. He was a member of the Episcopal Church.

Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Barbara) Hayes of Altus; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Hixson of Houston, Texas and Mrs. Betty Whitfield of Golden, CO; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
