Obituary for Joe L. Seay
Joe L. Seay was born November 11th, 1911 in Oklahoma. He died October 20th, 1994 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He was the son of the late Braxton and Lee Seay. He married Thelma Barnes and she preceded him in death in May 1987. He married Pauline Etheridge in April 23, 1988 in Altus, Oklahoma. Joe served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked with the James Construction Company for over 33 years until he retired. He was the Project Manager for the company. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge #292 of Kopperl, TX, was a charter member of the VFW in Altus, a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Monday at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Boyd Whitehead and Rev. Ron Mackey officiating. Interment will be in Morgan, Texas Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ron Mackey officiating. Lowell Tims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include: his wife, Pauline Seay of the home; six children, Jerry Mac Seay and wife Gloria of Morgan, Texas, Joe Van Seay of Oklahoma City, OK, Jim Seay and wife Staci of Paso Robles, CA, Linda Whittle and husband Neil of Tyler, TX, Judy Robnett and husband Billie of Lubbock, TX and Suzie Anderson and husband Jerry of Blair, OK; one brother, Bernes Seay of Altus, OK; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Thelma Barnes Seay; four brothers; two sisters.
