Joel R. Hopper age 55, of Altus, Oklahoma died February 14, 1967 in Altus. He was born January 24y, 1912 in Altus to Joel W. and Rosa (Bradley) Hopper. He attended school at the Altus Public Schools. He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of the American Legion.
Services for Joel R. Hopper are scheduled for Tuesday, February 28, 1967 at 2:00pm in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. Richard Hopper, Ardmore, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in th Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Joel R. Hopper is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Allen, Boise, Idaho; four sisters, Mrs. Elmer Harris, Lubbock, Texas; Mrs. Edgar Tinlin, Lubbock, Texas; Mrs. Walter McNatt, Lubbock, Texas; Mrs. Tom Bellows, Altus, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews.
