Services for John B. Edgeworth, 78, of Olustee, were Monday at the Olustee Baptist Church with burial following at the Prarie Hill Cemetery. The Rev, C.W. Ramsey officiating. Mr. Edgeworth was born January 31, 1913 in Cross Plains, Texas. Moving to Oklahoma as a child, he was a life long resident of Jackson County, and retired from the Civil Service. He married Marie Chesser in 1938 at Olustee and married Pansy Barnes in 1975. Mr. Edgeworth served in the Navy during World War 2 and served on the Battleship Texas. He was preceded in death by one sister, two brothers and a son Jackie Edgeworth.

Mr. Edgeworth is survived by his wife Pansy of the home.
