Obituary for John Floyd Allen
John Floyd Allen, age 71, long time resident of Altus area, died yesterday at the Veteran's Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

Services have been set for 2:00 P.M. Friday at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Rev. C. C. Gober. Burial will be in the Elmer Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born March 5th, 1913 at Caddo (Bryan County) Oklahoma, he moved with his family to Elmer in 1928. He was a Veteran of WWII. For several years Mr. Allen was the Clerk at the West Broadway Hotel.

Survivors include: one brother, Otis Allen of Altus; two sisters, Ora Kimes of Phoenix, AZ and Mrs. A.F. (Orilla) Glenn of Altus, OK.
