John H. Laurance




John H. Laurance, age 9 passed away Friday, October 20, 2000 at his home in Prairie Hill Community. He was born January 10, 1907 in Quincety, Illinois to John Spencer Laurance.

He was a longtime residence of the Prairie Hill Community. He farmed there for most of his life.

Survivors include:

2 Children Elmira Laurance of Prairie Hill, Elmer Laurance of Mineral Wells,, Texas

1 granddaughter: Lauri Hicks

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

The family will greet friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Lowell Tims Funeral Home. .

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, October 23, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. in the Lowell Tims Chapel with Sonny Tims officiating. Interment will follow in the Prairie Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
