John Henry Harrison age 86 of Altus, Oklahoma died at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma, May 20, 1966. He was born March 31, 1880 in Pikeville, Tennessee to William H. and Betty (Vaughn) Harrison. John had been a resident of Jackson County since 1905. He married Lela Lamb in 1905 and she preceded him in death March 1943. John married Alice Colvert in 1950.
Funeral services for John Henry Harrison are scheduled for May 23, 1966 at 10:00am in the Tims Chapel officiated by Rev. Jack Parker. Burial will follow in the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
John Henry Harrison is survived by his wife Alice of the home in Altus, Oklahoma; six sons, Edwin Harrison, Los Alamos, New Mexico; Jim Harrison, Lawton, Oklahoma; Harold Harrison, Bakersfield, California; Vaughn Harrison, Bakersfield, California; Ray Harrison, Bakersfield, California; Max Harrison, San Antonio, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Maye Holley, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Mrs Opal McIntire, Hanford, California; Mrs. Johnnie Greenhood, Longbeach, California; one sister Mrs. Claude McReynolds, Winston Salem, North Carolina; one brother Claude Harrison, Carlsbad, New Mexico.
