John Lacy Neal



John Lacy Neal was born at Panama, California, December 4th, 1887. He passed away in the Altus Memorial Hospital, Sunday morning at 5:30 at the age of 79 years. He was a resident of Sulpher, Oklahoma.

Mr. Neal was a member of one of the early day pioneer families of this community, coming with his parents to Altus in 1888.

He is survived by three sisters and two brothers. His brothers are Lloyd Neal, Sulphur, Oklahoma and W.J. Neal of Altus, Oklahoma. Surviving sisters are Mrs. Russell Vernon, Sulphur. Oklahoma;
Mrs. Jonnie Hatton, Olustee, Oklahoma and Miss Mattie Neal, Altus, Oklahoma. Surviving also are one niece, Margaret Clark of Fairfax, Oklahoma and one nephew, Neal Clowdus, Olustee, and many other family and friends.

Services will be conducted at Tims Chapel of Memories on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 by Reverend Howard Roberts of Olustee. Interment will be in the Altus cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
