Obituary for John Melton Anstad
Mr. John Melton Anstad, age 84, of Olustee, OK, died on January 23, 1968 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of Christ in Olustee. He had lived in the Olustee area since 1907. He was married to Mary Jane Cole who preceded him in death on May 14, 1965.

He is survived by: two brothers, R. E. Anstad of Crosbyton, TX and Pat Anstad of El Paso, TX; several nieces and nephews; Bessie Bush of Altus, OK and Daisy Cook of Fresno, CA were raised by Mr. and Mrs. Austin.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 25, 1968 at the Olustee Church of Christ with Bill Osborne officiating. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery.
