Obituary for John Robert "Bob" Anderson
Mr. John Robert "Bob" Anderson, age 78, resident of Elmer, died early Thursday morning at the Norman Municipal Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2:30 P.M., Saturday at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by Brother Jack Collins. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born June 16th, 1895 in Tennessee, he was married at Vanoss, OK in 1918 to the late Cora Freeman. She died in 1971. Mr. Anderson came to the Elmer community eight years ago from Eastern Oklahoma. He was a retired Sawmill Operator and was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include: one son, J.R. Anderson, Jr. of Elmer; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Morrison of Elmer and Mrs. Pearl Delaney of Norman, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Harley Johnson of Tupelo, OK and Mrs. Irvin Evans of Wasco, CA; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
