Obituary for John T. Risinger
Services for John T. Risinger, 72, of Altus are scheduled for 2:00pm Wednesday at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel. Dr. Richard Ventonis will officiate. Burial will follow at the Altus Cemetery. Mr. Risinger was born April 17, 1919 at Friendship to Walter and Texie Risinger. Mr. Risinger had lived most of his life in Jackson county, except for a short time at Cache, Oklahoma. On December 12, 1942 he married Kathren Ward. Mr. Risinger was a retired Brick Mason. Services are under the directions of Lowell-tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Risinger is survived by his wife Kathren Risinger of the home; children, Mary Pollard, Altus, Oklahoma; Betty Harralson, Altus, Oklahoma; Rebecca Nall, Altus, Oklahoma; Dana Amick, Altus, Oklahoma; Emily Kaye Alexander, Las Vegas, Neveda; brothers, W.J. Risinger, Altus, Oklahoma; Claude Risinger, Cache, Oklahoma; sister, Thelma Harrell, Cache, Oklahoma.
Mr. Risinger was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, three brothers, four sisters, and three grandsons.
