John Wesley Huddleston age 71 of Elmer, Oklahoma died at his home February 2, 1966. He was born June 9, 1894 in Milan, Tennessee to Havell and Josie (Hickman) Huddleston. John had been a resident of Jackson County since 1927. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Elmer, Oklahoma. Funeral services for John Wesley Huddleston are scheduled for February 4, 1966 at 2:00pm at the Elmer Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Cecil Stubbs. Burial will follow at the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
John Wesley Huddleston is survived by his wife Edith of the home in Elmer, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Moore, Henrietta, Oklahoma; Mrs. Flora Wilson, Elmer, Oklahoma; three sons, Charles Huddleston, Elmer, Oklahoma; Bobby Huddleston, Altus, Oklahoma; Donald Huddleston, Elmer, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, two sisters, Amie Gatlin, Altus, Oklahoma; Bessie Mae Richardson, Elmer, Oklahoma; one brother Bob Huddleston, Indianola, Oklahoma.
