Obituary for John Wolf
John Walter Wolf, 61, passed away unexpectedly Monday night. John was born to Hartsill and Pauline Wolf in Lake Village, Arkansas on November 22, 1950. He graduated from Wilmot High School in 1968 and is a graduate of Louisiana State University. He married Jill Hlavaty in 1970 and settled in Oklahoma in 1986.
An avid outdoorsman, John spent many of his working years as a plant manager for Kellwood and various other organizations and most recently worked as a correctional officer. He spent his spare time hunting, fishing, and beekeeping as well as working on his dream house at Lake Eufala.
John was a loving husband, father and grandfather and is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jill of Altus; sons: John Jay of Altus and Jeff of Oklahoma City and his grandson Essick, Oklahoma City.
A private memorial service will be held for friends and family members in Altus. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
