Johnnie "John" Faucher, resident of Edmond and former resident of Altus, Oklahoma passed away December 5, 2023 at Ou Medical Center of Edmond.
John was born March 18, 1943 to Sam and Mattie (Rutledge) Faucher. John was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. John's father was in the army and they moved all over the United States, but Altus, Oklahoma was always considered home. In 1962 the Faucher's returned home to Altus, Oklahoma. On January 31, 1969 John married the love of his life Sherry Thacker in Altus, Oklahoma. This marriage would be blessed with one child Samantha Faucher. John worked as for the United States Postal Service as a Mail Carrier. In his free time John loved to shot guns, but playing poker was John's favorite past time. He loved to travel with Sherry to Las Vegas to play poker and see the shows.
Preceding John in death is his father, Marcel Sam Faucher; mother, Mattie (Rutledge) Faucher, his sister, Sarita Ann Levchik and wife, Sherry (Thacker) Faucher.
Left to honor John's memory is his daughter, Samantha Faucher.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Altus City Cemetery, Altus, Oklahoma.
