Jonathan P. Machin was born October 5, 1906 at Duke, Oklahoma. He died March 16, 1994 at the Altus House Nursing Home. He married Nora Beavers September 27, 1978 at Vernon, TX. He was associated with the Katy Railroad for 42 years. He was a longtime of Duke, Altus and Jackson County and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the Rock Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

Survivors include: his wife, Nora Machin of the home in Altus.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother.
