Obituary for Jose M. Ozuna
Jose M. Ozuna, age 78, of Olustee, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, October 30, 1999 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services have been scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 2, 1999 at the Lowell-Tims Chapel. Rev. Larry Ortega and Rev. Joe Tovar will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Martha Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Ozuna was born May 21, 1921, in Hidalgo County, Texas to Alonzo and Maria Viduari Ozuna. He moved from Donna, Texas to the Jackson County area in 1951. He married Maria Anna Hernandez Pubio on June 15, 1993 in Quanah, Texas.

Me. Ozuna was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Maria Ozuna in 1990; one daughter, Auralia Sanchez in 1984; and a brother, Tomas Ozuna in 1993.

He is survived by his childern, Joe Jr. and Connie Ozuna of Lawton, Oklahoma, Rafael and Mary Ann Cisneros of Raymondville, Texas, Alonzo and Sharon Ozuna of Alexander, Arkansas, Victor and Francis Soloman of Martha, Oklahoma, Lewis and Mary Ozuna of Gainesville, Texas, Roger and Patty Ozuna of Denison, Texas. Rosa Ozuna of Turpin, Oklahoma, Mario and
Dorothy Ozuna of Lancaster, Texas; three brothers, Pascual Ozuna of Donna, Texas, Secundino Ozuna of North Ridge, California, and Simon Ozuna of California; and by four sisters, Maria O. Zarate of Bay City, Texas, Salome of Ozuna of Donna, Texas, Esther Reyes of La Mirada, California and Gregoria Garcia of weslaco, Texas. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving friends and relatives from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
