JOSEPH RANDALL CROW


Joseph Randall Crow, 81 of Hollis, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at Harmon Memorial Hospital in Hollis.

Joseph was born in Harmon County, Oklahoma on March 27, 1936 to his parents Joseph Richard Crow and Opal Beatrice (Garvin) Crow. He grew up in the Ron community and graduated Class of 1954 from Ron High School. On December 20, 1956 Joseph married the love of his life Alice Faye Willoughby at the home by the Ron Cotton Gin and they have enjoyed over 61 years of marriage together. For many years Joseph worked as a manager at the Ron Cotton Gin and later the Gould Cotton Gin when the Gins consolidated. Then at the age of 60, Joseph went to work for the Honda Motor Company in Dublin, Ohio and Joseph and Alice Faye built a home in Marysville, Ohio where they resided for several years. While at Honda Joseph spent three weeks in Japan and traveled to many places for the company. Later they moved back to Southwest Oklahoma and made their home in Hollis where Joseph had most recently worked for Hudson’s Equipment in Hollis. He was a longtime member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Hollis and currently a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hollis. He enjoyed coaching little league baseball in Gould, fishing, eating good meals, his dog “Clifford” – the little red dog and his cat “Big Boy”. Joseph loved his family and he will be missed very much.

Preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Robert Earl Crow; and his sister, Wanda Jean Henry; Joseph is survived by his wife Alice Faye Crow of the home in Hollis; two sons, Jason Randall Crow and wife Nadia of Washington; and Kevin Richard Crow and wife Katy of Texas; three daughters, Julia Ann Beehn and husband Stacy of Illinois; Esmer Gaye Millard and husband Chris of Duke; and Alice Jo( Jodi) Whorton and husband Jerry Bob of Hollis; fourteen grandchildren, Jaycee, Christopher, and Tommy; Samuel, and Jainia; Joseph, Lori, Allison, and Josh; Larry, Tim J.J., Rachel, and Turner; sixteen great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews, other family members and many friends.

Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2018 and Sunday, February 4, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Harmon County Funeral Home in Hollis.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Hollis with Pastor Don Altom officiating. Interment will follow at McKnight Cemetery under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, Oklahoma.
