Services are scheduled for 11am Wednesday October 16, 1991 at the Thomas Street Church of Christ for Susie Josephine Sonntag with Jim Brown officiating. Josie Sonntag died October 13, 1991 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Interment will be Wednesday October 16, 1991 at 3:30 pm at the Thomas Cemetery in Thomas Oklahoma. Josie Claunch Sonntag married L.C. Sonntag November, 5, 1912 at Erick, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death October 15, 1940 in Clinton, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and resident of Altus since 1982. Services will be under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sonntag is survived by her children, Marjorie Pigg, Altus, Oklahoma; Leon Sonntag, Austin, Texas; Amelia Cedarstaff, Long Beach California; Charles Sonntag, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Elsie Palmeria, Martinez, California; Mary Cordial, Aiea, Hawaii.
Mrs. Sonntag was preceded in death by her parents; husband, L.C. Sonntag; son, Clarence Sonntag; daughter, Eunice Elizabeth McCall.
