Francene Roach, 77, of Altus, passed away Friday, November 27, 2009, at
Collingsworth General Hospital in Wellington, Texas.
Frances was born March 17, 1932, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Willie B. and Jewel (Clifton) Castle. She lived most of her life here until she married Griffith Roach August 14, 1981, in Carter, Oklahoma. They lived in Mangum for several years before moving back to Altus.
She was a bookkeeper at ASC Auto Supply for over 26 years. Francene was a
member of the Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Jimmy in 1991 and Jack Caster in 1996, husband, Griffith Gene Roach on December 1, 2000, and one brother, Billy Castle.
Fran is survived by one sister, LaWanda Tigert and husband Ray of North Ridgeville, Ohio, her grandchildren, Michelle Caster, Mandy Caster, Brandon Caster, and Derrick Caster, and by several great-grandchildren. She is survived by her special friends, Eiron Webb and husband Dan, Daniel Kolt Webb, II, Cady Marie Webb, all of Wellington, Texas, and Anita McHenry of Mangum, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home with Jeff Dill officiating. Interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus.
