Obituary for Karen Denise Crow
Karen Crow, 56, of Altus, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Karen was born November 2, 1951 to Donald and Pat (Briscoe) Easley in Altus, Oklahoma. She married Jerry Crow November 23, 1983 in Altus. She was a real "people" person and never met a stranger. Karen's mission in life was cooking for children in need. Her passion in life was her family, but she always gave of herself to others when they needed her. Karen loved to cook, refinish furniture and plant flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Crow of the home in Altus; her children, Nicole Crow of San Marcos, Texas, Courtney Braune and husband Josh of Germany, Jennifer Crow, Andrew Crow, and Emily Crow all of the home in Altus; her mother, Pat Easley of Altus; one sister, Kathy Busby and husband Mark of Altus; brothers-in-law, Richard Crow and wife Mimi of San Antonio, Texas and Bennett Crow and wife Carole of Lexington, North Carolina; three nieces, Kasey Ortega and husband A.J. of Altus, Andrea Busby of Stillwater, and Lexie Busby of Altus, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Donald easley on June 8, 2006, her grandparents, Bill and Maude Easley and Loyd and Iva Briscoe, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lowell and Ruth Crow.
Funeral services for Karen Crow will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2008, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel with Mark Haught officiating. Interment will follow at Hess City Cemetery under the directions of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends on Sunday, March 9, 2008 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
