Obituary for Kate McAskill
Kate McAskill age 82 of Altus, Oklahoma died February 23, 1965 at Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma. She was born February 12, 1883 in Anderson, South Carolina to R.S. and Ella (Kay) Clinkscale. She had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma since 1908/ Kate married Charles McAskill October 1953. She was a member of the Worthwhile Club, Ozark Farm Womens Club U.D.C. Eastern Star and First Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Kate McAskill are scheduled for February 25, 1965 at 10:00am in the First Baptist Church officiated by Gene Garrison and Jess Moelin. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Kate McAskill is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Smith, El Paso, Texas; two sons, Bob McAskill, Altus, Oklahoma; Sam McAskill, Altus, Oklahoma' eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Max Garrett, Altus, Oklahoma.
