Obituary for Kenneth Lee O'Neal
Funeral services for Kenneth Lee O'Neal, age 62, have been set for 2:00 P.M. Tuesday afternoon at the Altus Air Force Base Chapel with Chaplin David Wilsek officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home. Full Military Honors will be accorded.

O'Neal was born March 15th, 1924 in Altus and attended the Altus Public schools. In 1949 he enlisted in the United States Army and served his country for the next 20 years. His service included several overseas assignments to include Germany Korea, Republic of Viet Nam and Central America. His last duty station being Ft. Amador, Canal Zone, Republic of Panama. For the last two years he has lived with his niece, Diane Landers of Altus, and died at the Altus AFB Hospital on Friday afternoon.

He is survived by one brother, Jack O'Neal of Altus; three sisters, Nell Copeland of Dimmitt, TX, Ann Harmon of Claremore, OK and Martha Raley of Altus; two nieces; seven nephews.
