Kren Ella (Eccles) Snodgrass was born October 13, 1941, at the Allgood Clinic and Altus, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Richard and Pauline Eccles. She died Tuesday, December 26th, 2000, at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. She attended school at Prairie Hill and Victory, and graduated from Duke High School in 1960, where she was active in 4-H and basketball. She attended WOSC where she majored in Accounting. For 28 years she had her own business office with H&R Block in Altus and Frederick. In 1973 she was instrumental in organizing the 4-H Club at Southside School. She was a member of the 4-H State Leaders Committee and was named Jackson County 4-H Alum of the Year. She owned and operated Kren's Kreative Krafts. She was a devoted wife and mother who always put her family first. She married Wayne Snodgrass November 26, 1960 at Prairie Hill. They established their home in the Humphreys Community where she lived for 40 years.

Services for Kren Ella (Eccles) Snodgrass are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2000, at the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Brother Ronnie Chadwick officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at Lowell Tims Funeral Home on Thursday, December 28, 2000 from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M..
