Kyle Wade Thompson, age 31, of Altus, passed away Monday afternoon, May 29, 2017, at his residence, in Altus.
Kyle was born in Altus on July 29, 1985, to Kenneth Loy Thompson and Robin Renee Murphy. Attending Altus Schools and living in Altus all of his life, Kyle worked for a time in the construction business. He later worked in the fast food industry because he had a passion for cooking. Kyle loved life and enjoyed making people laugh. In his spare time he enjoyed watching and participating in sports and he was looking forward to the birth of his new baby in a short time.
Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Murphy; a cousin, Amber Murphy and his step-father, Stephen Booker, he is survived by his fiancée, Kaela Rivas of Altus; his mother, Robin Booker of Altus; his father, Kenneth Thompson of Altus; three children, Kyleigha Thompson of Altus, Jayden Thompson of Altus and Kyzer Thompson of Comanche, Oklahoma; two sisters, Kenna Thompson of Altus and Tristan Leija and husband Marcus of Quanah, Texas; two brothers, Justin Thompson and wife Melissa of Warsaw, Indiana and Jacob Thompson of Milford, Illinois; grandparents, Gereta Murphy of Altus, Virginia Thompson of Altus, Arnold Thompson of Hobart and Earl and Shirley Booker of Altus along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Kyle Thompson will be at 2 p.m., Friday, June 2, 2017, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
The family will greet friends at Lowell-Tims on Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m.
