Obituary for Larry Ross Moore
Larry R. Moore, 59 resident of Mangum passed from this life on Tuesday, April 4, 2018.
He was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico on February 6, 1959 to William Douglas and Leora Lynn (Scott) Moore
He graduated high school from McGeher High School in McGeher, Arkansas. Larry earned his associates degree Paris Junior College in Paris, Texas.
He proudly served his country enlisting in the United States Air Force in June 1977. Larry was discharged from the Air Force May 1, 1981. He joined the Army National Guard in April of 1982 and retired in August 2001. Larry moved to Mangum in October 2009, he joined the Mangum Church of Christ. He was involved with Little League Baseball in Hugo and the American Legion in Mangum. He worked in Medical Coding.
Larry is proceeded in death by his parents William Douglas Moore and wife Hilda Moore, and Leora Lynn (Scott) Allenbaugh and husband Dee T. Allenbaugh, step brother Larry Allenbaugh, and Uncle Melbourne Allenbaugh, .
He is survived by his brothers, Marcus T. Moore and wife Lori of Gainesville, Fl, Harvey B. Moore of Mangum, ok, and Sister Celia M. Gilley and husband Garry of Mangum, ok and a step sister Connie O'Rourke and husband Tonye of Yuba City, CA., a very loving and caring ex-wife Carol Moore of Hugo, Ok, a Stepson Jarod Brook of Hugo, Ok, 2 granddaughters Brooklyn Brook and Bella Brook of Hugo, Ok, Uncle Jeff and Aunt Patricia Scott of Noble, Ok, Uncle Tracy and Aunt Mayde Scott of Noble, Ok, Uncle Pat Moore of Miami, Az. Numerous Nieces and Nephews, and Friends.
Visitation Sunday April 8, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm. Services will be 10:00 AM Monday April 9, 2018 at the Mangum Church of Christ with Mr. Todd McRay officiating. Interment will Follow at the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma with full military honors.
Services have been entrusted to Greer Funeral Home Mangum, Oklahoma.
