Obituary for Larry Wayne Boling
Larry Wayne Boling, age 57, a long-time resident of Altus, passed away Thursday, August 21,2008 at his home in Altus.
Larry was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on December 19,1950 to Floyd Bill and Elizabeth (Collins) Boling. On January 22, 2006 he married Cletta Von Dawson in Altus. Larry was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Altus and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Rent City for over 24 years before retiring. Larry loved fishing and his family and grandchildren and he will be missed very much.
Preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Elizabeth Boling; wife, Patricia (Strout) Boling; Larry is survived by his wife, Cletta Von Boling of the home; two sons, Gary Boling and his wife Jennifer of Altus; Jerry Boling and his wife Amber of Altus; two daughters, Jodi Talbert of Wichita, Kansas; Sherry McFarland and her husband Robert of Altus; one step-son, Michael Taylor and his wife Christina of Hobart; two step-daughters, Ricki Condit of Altus; LaDawna Taylor of Altus; three brothers, Rodney Boling and his wife Crystal of Altus; Corky Boling and his wife Carol of Louisiana; Colin Vernon of Pryor, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, Ashley Cannon of Altus; Brittney Cannon of Altus; Patricia Boling of Altus, Jacob Boling of Altus; Michael Taylor of Hobart; Joshua Taylor of Hobart; Dakota Taylor of Hobart; Leah Taylor of Hobart; Alee Thornebrry of Wichita Falls, Texas; Clyda Taylor of Altus and many other relatives and a host of friends.
Memorial services for Larry Wayne Boling will be at 10:00 am, Monday, August 25, 2008.
