Laura Anna Barton age 93, of Altus, Oklahoma died April 25, 1982 at Park Lane Manor Nursing Home in Altus, Oklahoma.
Laura was born June 20, 1888, in Paris, Texas, to William Parker. She married Edgar A. Barton in 1920 in Fredrick, Oklahoma. Edgar preceded her in death. Laura had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma since 1900.
Funeral services for Laura Barton are scheduled for Wednesday, April 28, 1982 at 2:00 pm in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. C. L. Abercrombie. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Laura Anna Barton is survived by three daughters, Thelma Phillips, Phoenix, Arizona; Lorene Franson, Little, Colorado; Myrtle Jones, Altus, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three nieces, Mrs. Clyde Frank, Altus, Oklahoma; Nannie Presley, Altus, Oklahoma; Anna Lea, Wichita Falls Texas.
