Obituary for Leamon Jumper
Leamon Jumper, age 86, of Route #1, Eldorado, Oklahoma, was born December 12th, 1907, in Pecan Gap, Texas, the son of Tank and Lillie B. (Tallent) Jumper. Mr. Jumper passed away Monday, July 25th, 1994, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital, Altus, Oklahoma, after a lengthy illness.
Graveside Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 1994, in the Eldorado Cemetery with Rev. Elbert Shumaker officiating.
Mr. Jumper had been a longtime Eldorado resident, moving top that community in 1930, from Durant, OK. On November 14, 1935, he and Senath Maye Jumper were united in marriage at Eldorado, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on August 29, 1986. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include: a sister, Mrs. Winnie Cargil of California; two sisters-in-law of this area, Elizabeth Holder Lucas of Altus and Alice Holder Myers of Cordell, OK; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Jumper of Vacaville, CA; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Senath Jumper, 8-29-86; six brothers and sisters.
