Obituary for Leaster Lenard
Mrs. Lee Esther Lenard, age 58, of 907 South Kennedy, died Tuesday at Southwestern Hospital in Lawton.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday at the New Hope Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend Theo Booker. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born September 15th, 1922 at Huntsville, Texas, she was married at Madisonville, Texas on March 10, 1938 to W. T. Lenard who survives of the home. She was a long time and active member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include: seven sons, L.J., John, Benjamin and Roy, all of Altus, J.T. of Clinton, James of Ft. Bragg, NC and Lloyd Lenard of Lawton; five daughters, Ada Lee Perry of Weowoka, OK, Wanda Louise Smith of Lawton, Wilma Jean Daniels, Elizabeth Lenard and Geraldine Dixon, all of Altus; her Mother Mrs. Rosie Cooper of Altus; one brother, John Cooper of Altus; 22 grandchildren.
