Obituary for Lee Pitts
Mr. Lee Pitts, age 71, long time resident of Kiowa County, died suddenly at his home in Roosevelt, Oklahoma on Monday afternoon.

Funeral services have been set for 2:30 P.M., Thursday at the Roosevelt First United Methodist Church, officiated by the Reverend A. A. Easton. Burial will be in Roosevelt Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born September 8th, 1903 at Commerce, Texas, he came to the Roosevelt community in 1919 where he farmed until retirement. He was married in 1925 to the former Floy Sensabaugh who survives him of the home; He was a member of the Roosevelt Oddfewllows Lodge and a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors in addition to his wife include: one son, Bill Pitts of Roosevelt; one daughter, Mrs. Wanda Thegel of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Earl Pitts of Bremerton, WA and J.C. Pitts of California; one sister, Mrs. Ova Mae Grantham of Mt. Park; three grandchildren.
