Lela Mae Robertson age 65, of Olustee, Oklahoma, was born August 10, 1929, in Clarksville, Texas, the daughter of the late Henry and Bessie "Farmer" Rutledge". She was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. Mrs. Robertson passed away Monday April 3, 1995, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 5, 1995, in the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Altus with Mr. Chuck Reagan officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home. In 1947, she and Fred Robertson were united in marriage at Altus, Oklahoma. Lela was a retired Nurses Aid with Jackson County Memorial Hospital after many years of employment. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witness.
Survivors include husband, Fred Robertson of the home; children and wife Sherry of Tulas, Oklahoma; Loretta Sue Horton and husband Harry of Altus, Oklahoma; Linda Jo Whitehouse and husband of Karmen of Tulsa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
